How are food businesses in New York City affected by fines, fees and permitting processes, and how does this shape our food environment? What are the effects of these policies on business owners and their patrons? In this panel discussion we will explore the consequences of fines in terms of impact on businesses and effects on behavior and health.  What policy changes could be made to make the system function better and ensure healthy practices while being more equitable and fair?
