Why We Must Restore the SNAP Cuts

Letitia James, New York City Public Advocate, writes in the Huffington Post about the problems with the recent SNAP cuts and argues that true leadership would be demonstrated by restoring these damaging cuts.

“By cutting more than $8 billion from SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) — better known as food stamps — we are harming the most vulnerable among us. This includes children, single parents, seniors and the homeless.”
